Its that time again and suddenly three out of four weekends are taken up with weddings, hen and stag parties and other wedding related celebrations. My friend’s brother is getting hitched this weekend and I spent a very busy but fun day trawling the shops on Wednesday looking for accessories to go with the wonderful dress my pal has bought for the occasion. It is a stunning slinky, fitted, knee length dress in bright blue – a blue the same colour as the sky is on a cloudless summer day. A deep, maritime blue that makes you wish you were on a yacht in the med.

Fortunately the shops are full of  fashion dresses and ladies dresses just now and where there are dresses there are accessories. You just have to have the knack of finding just the right things to make the outfit stand out and look amazing. Orange and deep, bright coral colours are everywhere just now. The right orange looks stunning against Royal blue.

We opted for a gorgeous silver cuff bangle with burnt ochre enamelling,to match a silk knit cardigan in the exact same deep orange.  And to compliment the look a baby skin soft leather clutch bag with silver zip and features in the same orangey ochre colour.

The shoes match the dress and the whole outfit really does look stunning. The clever accessorising means that even if someone else is wearing the same dress, you wouldn’t know it.
